Siringo

Beta terms

Last updated

Thanks for testing Siringo. These terms are short on purpose. By installing the beta and using it, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

It’s beta software

What Siringo is, and what it isn’t

Siringo coaches you, the handler, on the mechanics of reward-based training: when you marked, whether you lured or cued, and where the reward landed. It covers foundation behaviors like sit, down, stay, recall and heel.

Your dog’s safety is your call

You know your dog, and you’re in charge of the session. You’re responsible for your dog’s safety and wellbeing, and for the safety of people and animals around you, whatever the app says.

Stop the session if your dog seems stressed, frightened, tired, sore, overexcited or reactive, or if anything feels off. Try again another day with something easier, or not at all. No session is worth it.

Force-free only

Siringo is built for reward-based training. Please don’t use it alongside punishment or aversive tools and methods: no prong, choke or shock collars, no leash corrections, no physical or verbal intimidation. If a step is too hard for your dog, make it easier.

Your data

Video stays on your phone unless you choose to share it. What the beta does sync, including test usage stats and your check-in answers, and how to delete it, is on the Privacy page. That page is part of these terms.

Feedback

Feedback is the point of a beta, so please send it: through TestFlight, in the app, or by email. If you do, we can use it to improve Siringo without owing you anything for it. Please don’t forward your invite link; ask us and we’ll invite your friend directly.

Changes

We’ll update these terms as the beta changes, and change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters, we’ll tell testers by email. You can stop testing at any time by deleting the app.
