Siringo watches you and your dog train. That only works if you trust it with the camera, so the rule is simple: video stays on your phone unless you choose to share it.

The app

The app is in development. This section describes how it is being built. If that changes, this page changes first.

Sharing progress with your trainer

You can make a link to your dog’s progress page from the app, for example to send to your trainer. The page shows the last 90 days of numbers for that dog: sessions, reps, success rate, marker timing, lure and reward placement, and stay, recall and heel results, week by week, plus the breed and age. It shows your dog’s name only if you turn that on. It never includes video, pose tracks, notes, or your name, email or account. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it only with people you choose. A link stops working after 90 days, and you can turn it off in the app at any time; it stops working at once. We count how many times a link is opened so you can see it in the app; we don’t record who opened it.

Usage stats in test builds

Test builds of the app (TestFlight) record simple usage events so we can tell whether Siringo actually helps: when you open the app, start or finish a session (with its rep count, length and timing numbers), open a recap or your plan, export a session, analyze a video from your camera roll (the video itself stays on your phone; only the resulting session numbers sync), finish the pre-session setup check (which checks passed), or turn training reminders on or off. Reminders are scheduled on your phone; we don’t send them. These events contain no video, no audio, no location and no text you type, except check-in answers and feedback you choose to send. They’re stored with your other app data and read only by us, to improve Siringo. You can turn them off in the app under Settings › Share usage stats with Siringo; events not yet sent are then deleted from your phone. We never sell this data or use it for advertising.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we keep your email, your dog’s name and age if you give them, and whether you’d like to test an early build. We use them only to contact you about Siringo. We don’t share them with anyone, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
